Damn, I guess Paul the World Cup octopus picked the wrong team to root against. Now some German fans are seeking a little bit of revenge and calling for a public grilling of Paul. You guys do know that he’s just an octopus right? Like he didn’t lost the World Cup for you. I think blame for the catastrophy lies with your team. More after the jump.
Two-year-old Paul is on every German’s sh*t list after correctly predicting that Spain would become World Cup champions, among other victories. One overzealous fan even said:
“Nothing beats grilled octopus. Cut him up in thin slices and grill him on all sides with a dash of lemon juice, olive oil and garlic on it. Delicious!”
Damn, grilling wasn’t enough? now you have to cut him up too? Though his handlers promise that he will have a bright future, they may just want to watch his back just a little bit for any suspiciously hot kitchen items.
